The combination of 50mm focal length and F2 maximum aperture tempts me to shoot from normal distance rather than close one. While rendition is sharp wide open, definition is extremely high and bokeh is beautiful. And, they are obvious already on the viewfinder screen. You need some practice to be able to manual-focus smoothly on the street. But, you'll enjoy the metal feel of the barrel and the torque of the focus ring. Take time in shooting and your excitement will enhance the quality of your output.

Shooting becomes stress-free because you can get close to the subject as much as you want. Step back if you want to shoot wide and get close if you want to shoot big. This lens teaches you the basics of photography: earn focal length by foot.

Fish ports have many subjects with complex shapes, but the 3D separation of this lens works to simplify and even beautify the complex background.

Shooting remote scenes with a macro lens? Why not? Basically, we stop down in daytime. Trust the performance of this lens.

Close distance / wide open. You may be shooting from this distance often on the streets. Check the texture rendition of the rusted metal and the bokeh taste.
