The market for high-speed short telephoto 85mm F1.4 is very competitive with great lenses from many manufacturers. And, it has been one of the dream lenses for SLR camera users. This lens is the "D" type with the aperture ring. The bokeh is fairly smooth although it's a little hard. The world of bokeh is deep and "good" bokeh is defined differently. And, if you believe that bokeh isn't always about softness, you may be interested in this lens.
