It's sharp wide open and generates beautiful bokeh. You may say, "of course, it's a mind-blowingly expensive lens!" But, you can be so happy just with the bright and beautiful viewfinder image. And, you can use the strong compression effect to make the subject look symbolic. Yes, it's expensive, but unlike bodies, a lens like this can be "a property" and you can enjoy its special performance for a long time.

Anyone who is captured by this lens is a leading actor/actress. The rendition is very clear and I can almost hear his monologue.

With the 200mm focal length, these swan boats look as if they were gathering of their own will. I guess it's due to the beautiful front and back bokeh as well as the composition including the house, or their "home."

Did the sumo wrestler lose in the match? Of course, everyone loses sometimes. The soft back bokeh expresses the encouraging gaze of the photographer.

I shot a dark interior from a bright location. A dim light is strong enough for this lens to resolve the focal peak and reproduce good colors.
