This is a short telephoto macro lens for APS-C cameras. The angle of view is equivalent to around 120mm in 35mm format and this means you can get a good working distance. It's very sharp wide open even at infinity. The bokeh becomes double-lined in some situations, but it's great overall.

A close-up. It traced the waffle texture of the paper's fiber minutely. The double-lined bokeh is seen on the bottom right, but you can eliminate it by changing distance or brightness.

The shiny white dumplings and the bean paste look so realistic that I feel like I can even smell them!

A macro lens can also be used for landscapes, taking advantage of the sharpness.
