FUJIFILM XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR

FUJIFILM's high-quality X-mount lenses lineup is expanding rapidly. This new XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR is the flagship F2.8 telephoto zoom lens that covers the angle of view between 76mm and 213mm in 35mm format. Armed with dust/drop/low temperature-resistant construction, it features 5-stop image stabilization, HT-EBC coating, and the round-shape diaphragm. Of course, its image quality is just splendid.

The front and back bokeh are beautiful. The quiet focusing didn't wake my daughter up.

The focal peak is tack sharp. The front and back bokeh are smooth while the outlines aren't erased. And, the vivid color reproduction of the skiwear is very Fujifilm.

Instant focusing is indispensable for street photography. Honestly, the older XF lenses felt a bit slow in focusing, but this one is so quick and accurate.

The resolution is high and it's very sharp. Thanks to the camera's Lens Modulation Optimizer technology which corrects diffraction blur caused by smaller aperture. So, you can stop down to get more depth of field with confidence.

The weather-resistant construction supports shooting in the snow and rain.

The cold specification is minus 10 degrees, but I could use it even in lower temperature. Of course, do it at your own risk. Anyway, this toughness is perfect for landscape photographers.

The high performance shows the spirit of a "flagship." And, the high quality design also satisfies the desire to own. The image quality is sharp and backlight-resistant. Without a doubt, this lens will be a core lens of all future XF lenses and I highly recommend it to landscape and portrait photographers.
